Butterflies and caterpillars of the Canary Islands
Just discovered a very interesting link http://www.schmetterling-raupe.de/kanaren.htm Worth a visit is the butterfly park Mariposario del Drago (www.mariposario.com) in Icod de los Vinos; only 28km from the Tigaiga. You can see the butterfly’s resting on the leaves of the tropical plants. Sometimes they even rest on you!

Public investment
In the last five years, public administrations invested € 51 million in Puerto de la Cruz. The repair of roads, pedestrian zones, squares, public gardens as the Taoro Park, public furniture and building facades have been accomplished.
